FETHI STAFF BEGIN WITH NEW MONTH WITH PRAISES AND WORSHIP

The cross sessions of Christian Faithful at the July edition of the monthly prayer meeting of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) tagged “The Lord’s Delight, Isaiah 52:2-5” held today, 1st July, 2019 at the hospital’s mini conference hall.

The Members of Staff, who began the new month with praises and worship songs to God Almighty, were urged to rise up to the enormous challenges in the land and prepared to be known for something worthwhile.
Dr Omolayo charged the staff to break the desolate ground in their respective departments by acquiring skills that people need to enjoy quality healthcare services in the hospital.
He urged the people to learn the things that please God which he enumerated to be justice, kindness, righteousness, mercy and fairness. He also prayed that God will bring honour unto the staff as they give themselves to the path of excellence.
MLS Ajumobi and Mr Ogundana led the prayer sessions with emphasis on successful and hitch-free endeavours in the month of July.
The Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, who welcomed the Faithful to the gathering, encouraged them to always be peace with one another so that the institution which he said was fast becoming a training centre can also be at peace.
He disclosed that the Board of Management of the hospital had approved the promotion of 595 out of 602 members of staff who were presented for promotion interview.
He therefore officially presented two of the newly promoted Assistant Directors, MLS Kunle Ajumobi and MLS Adewoyin Adeleke and congratulated them on behalf of the Board and Management.
The financial implication of the 2019 promotion exercise was said to commence this July, as the CMD noted that the hospital is currently working with the Federal Government to expedite payment of the remaining 2017 promotion arrears.
