The Chief Medical Director of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), Professor Adekunle Ajayi on Monday while declaring a seminar organised by the Nigeria Society of Physiotherapy (NSP) Ido-Ekiti Chapter in collaboration with Medical Rehabilitation Therapist (Registration) Board of Nigeria (MRTB) opened. The seminar was tagged “Developing and Implementing Clinical Practice Guidelines (CPGS): A Paradigm Shift for Better Patient Care.

The CMD congratulated all members of the department on the recent appointment of Head of the Department, Dr Adelugba by President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, as a Member of the Medical Rehabilitation Therapist Board of Nigeria.

He said the appointment had put the name of the department and that of the hospital on the national map.
Prof. Ajayi also welcomed the guest speaker, Dr Uthman Anjorin from University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital, Ilorin, Kwara State, to the hospital and admonished the participants to be attentive to gain from the wealth of experience of the resource person.

Also present with the CMD at the event were the Deputy Director of Administration (Human Resources), Mrs Shittu-Folusho Adelegan and the Head of Information/Corporate Affairs, Mr Bank-Akinnuoye among others.
