Following the signing of memorandum of understanding between the Federal Ministry of Health and ABUAD on the upgrade of the hospital from Federal Medical Centre to Federal Teaching Hospital, the Chief Medical Director Federal Teaching Hospital Ido- Ekiti, Dr. Lawrence Majekodunmin Ayodele paid a thank you visit to Aare Afe Babalola on Friday 5th December 2014 for the gigantic and philanthropic role he played towards the actualization of the dream. The C.M.D expressed his profound gratitude to Aare Afe Babalola ,the founder ABUAD and presented him a giant �thank you� card using almost everything at his disposal to facilitate the upgrading of the Federal Medical Centre Ido- Ekiti to a Federal Teaching Hospital status. Aare Afe Afe Babalola commended the efforts of the Chief Medical Director and appreciated his efforts in transforming the hospital. He said �Eni ti a se lore ti ko dupe bi olosa koni leru loni� i.e �An ingrate can be likened to a robber� He further described the CMD as an Honorable person because he is a gentle man and a gentle man is an Honorable man.
