The February edition of the monthly prayer meeting organised by the Federal Teaching Hospital Christian Community, was held today, Monday, 1st February, 2021.
The theme for this month was ” The Way in the Wilderness” and the Bible text was taken from the book of Isaiah 43:19.
Dr. Omolayo in his exposit, charged the congregation that oftentimes, Christians find themselves in inevitable wilderness experiences because God allowed it. But it is the assurance of every believer that he will deliver his children and make way in the wilderness and rivers in the desert.
“He shall call upon me, and I will answer him: I will be with him in trouble; I will deliver him, and honour him (Psalm 91:15).
Prayers for God’s deliverance and way out from every wilderness situation, defence, honour and divine carriage were unanimously rendered for the Management and Staff of FETHI and Nation at large.
The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi expressed excitement at seeing everyone present in the new month. He posed a question for members of staff to take stock of all they achieved as a Department , Unit and Individually in the previous month if positive and room for improvement.
He appreciated all who stand in the gap for the hospital and have been steadfast in their attendance to the monthly prayers and prayed that God will keep them rooted in his love.
Professor Adekunle Ajayi, further appreciated all for their collective effort in their contributions to the ongoing construction of the chapel. He urged members of the Christian community and sundry to key into the Chapel building project by giving to enable its feasible and visible completion.
In his words, “the month of February promises to be very busy with activities”, He wished best of luck to all qualified staff for promotion this year.
