The March edition of the monthly prayer meeting organised by the Federal Teaching Hospital Christian Community, was held today, Monday, 2nd March, 2020.

The theme for this month was “Rescued and Blessed ” and the Bible text was taken from the book of Psalms 105 vs 37.

Dr. Akingbade, charged members of staff to bring themselves under the leadership of Jesus Christ to experience covenant blessings and not place value on mundane fantasies but rather imbibe the lifestyle of Godliness, seeking the Lord and relating with him as a father.

Prayers for God’s direction, release of His power in our lives and total liberation from pestilence in Ekiti State and the nation at large were unanimously rendered alongside Intercessions for divine guidance and protection for every FETHI staff.

The Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi offered thanks to God for all He has done for the entire hospital community, bringing us triumphantly into the month of March.

He appreciated the organizers for their fervency and prayed God to deliver us all from every form of calamity and perpetual debts. He urged every member of staff to do what is right by civil service standards.

Furthermore, on the prevalent epidemic disease, ‘Corona Virus’, Prof. Ajayi enjoined everyone not to panic but keep themselves safe by washing of hands regularly with soap and water, coughing and sneezing in an appropriate manner so as not to infect people around them.

On a final note, members of staff were encouraged to prepare ahead to attend the next monthly prayer meeting which will hold on Wednesday, 1st April.
