The Journey - how we started and how we got to where we are now

The Federal Teaching Hospital Ido-Ekiti was founded in 1959 by the Ekiti State government. It has continued to provide tertiary care to patients in Ekiti, Ondo, Kwara, Osun and environs. Presently, the hospital comprises of over 300+ medical experts such as doctors, nurses and other medical practitioners

We look forward to pioneering Africa's medical revolution with a focus on maintaining advanced technological standards in advancing medical care in all of Africa. While we focus primarily on our immediate community, we seek collaboration in training, research and advanced care
