Leadership of the Medical and Health Workers Union of Nigeria (MHWUN), Ekiti State Council led by Com. Femi Ajoloko, has introduced the newly appointed Caretaker Committee members of the Union to the management of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) on Thursday.
The August visitors, who were received by the Chief Medical Director of the hospital, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, appreciated the CMD for proving to be a father to all in running the affairs of the hospital by showing no preferential treatment to any association or union.
The State Chairman said, “It is very important to introduce the newly appointed branch Caretakers Committee members to you. It is also our belief that they will give the management their full support in running the affairs of the hospital.”
Prof. Ajayi lauded the support his led administration had enjoyed from the union, saying if MHWUN had not accepted the part of progress which he said requires making sacrifices, his administration wouldn’t have recorded the success stories in the public domain.
However, the CMD maintained that his administration has been committed to fair play, equity and justice, reiterating that the hospital shall continue to be committed to the wellbeing of her members. He thanked the state administrative council for making available necessary mechanisms for FETHI chapter in ensuring peace within the hospital.
He wished the appointees a successful stay in office and enjoined them to ensure there’s always a peaceful coexistence among them and their members.
