It was a celebration galore on Tuesday, 22nd December, 2020, as Ekiti State University (EKSU) Alumni Association, Ekiti State Chapter recognised the Chief Medical Director of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), Professor Ebenezer Adekunle Ajayi, as the Best Medical Administrator of the year during the Association’s First Annual Lecture and Award Ceremony at Ado-Ekiti.

The recognition of the CMD’s achievements has led credence to the fact that he had impacted the Human Resources and Infrastructural developments within the hospital.

Receiving the Award on behalf of Prof Ajayi, the Assistant Director, Information and Corporate Affairs, Mr Bank-Akinnuoye A. F., thanked the Association for honouring the CMD. He later dedicated the Award to all members of staff of the hospital.

Dignitaries who were recognised along with Prof. Ajayi were the First Lady of Ekiti State, Erelu Bisi Fayemi, the Chairman, Ado Local Government Area, Hon. (Mrs) Fajuyi, National President, EKSU Alumni Association, Dr Oludotun Adetunberu,

Others were EKSU Vice Chancellor, Prof. Edward Olanipekun, Chairman, Ekiti State Environmental Management Agency (EKSEMA) Rt. Captain Sunday Adebomi and Special Adviser to Ekiti State Governor and Director General, Bureau of Public Procurement, Hon. Seun Odewale to mention but a few.
