Clinical information:
The Department of Chemical Pathology is one of the four Clinical Pathology departments; has both clinical and laboratory arms with a secretariat working in harmony to provide laboratory diagnostic and metabolic clinical consultancy services for both adult and paediatric clients.

Metabolic Day Care clinics, Interpretative comments, Dynamic testing, Medical Consults/ Clinical Review of in-patients
Analytical services:
For health screening, diagnosis, monitoring and prognosis of diseases; including research work.
Medical training:
Training of resident doctors rotating from other clinical specialties, Training of our unit Medical Officer in basic Clinical Chemistry skills

We carry out laboratory analysis for all clinical specialities and for research work purposes.
Future expansion plan
Our future plans include offering diagnostic services for toxicology (including assays for abused drugs), therapeutic drug monitoring, immunology (including electrophoresis) and in-born errors of metabolism testing.
