The Chief Medical Director, Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, has received an “Award of Commendation” by the Yoruba Socio-Cultural Group (YSCG), an International non-governmental organization, on Friday, 10th September, 2021.

Comrade. Emmanuel Awopetu, the President of the YSCG in his remarks, stated that the award which was presented during a media chat with the CMD, was borne out of global reports on the numerous feats, selfless services and visionary leadership recorded in FETHI, by the Prof. Adekunle Ajayi led administration.

He further thanked the Chief Medical Director for the tremendous work and urged him to continue in the giant strides he has attained.

Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, on receiving the award, stated that it is humbling, yet valuable contribution by the YSCG to FETHI as an institution and national cause of people-oriented programmes, welfare and empowerment.
