The Student Union Government, College of Health Technology, Ijero – Ekiti on Wednesday,15th September , 2021 paid a courtesy visit to the hospital to express deep seated gratitude to the Management of the Hospital and her Clinical Staff for their promptness in saving the lives of over 38 students of the Institution who were rushed down on emergency after being seriously affected by the recent fumigation of the school.

The outgoing SUG President of the College, Comrade Oni Opeyemi Henry , who expressed this says he believes among the students rescued are great leaders of the future, and is happy that no death was recorded. He further says , the Hospital deserves a recommendation which has birthed the ” AWARD OF HONOUR” presented by the school to the hospital. A member of his executive Comrade Adedayo, also thanked the hospital management for the excellent clinical performance.

The Assistant Director of Information and Corporate Affairs Department of the hospital, Mr Bank Akinnuoye who received the 2- man EXCO on behalf of the CMD appreciated them for their gesture of gratitude towards the hospital and quickly reminded them of the Vision and Mission statement of the Institution as the driving force behind the success story so far. He says ” We are here to care for the health of the Ekiti people and those living in its environs like; Kogi, Kwara, Osun and Ondo State.

Mr Akinnuoye says the ” AWARD OF HONOUR” is a challenge for all staff of the hospital not to rest of their oars by working more diligently in ensuring the mandate of the Hospital.

Also at the occasion was the Chief Admin Officer ( CMD’S OFFICE), Mr Yomi Fayigbe.
