The 6-man team from the National Youth Service Corp (NYSC), led by Mr. Omotade Benjamin Folunrusho, Director, Corps Welfare and Health Services, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi and Management team of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), on Friday, 29th October, 2021,
Addressing the management team of FETHI, and NYSC corp members present, Mr. Omotade B., in company of Mrs. Chikezie Nnena, the State Coordinator, NYSC, Ekiti State Chapter,
according to him, stated that their visit was that of validation and appreciation on behalf of the Director- General. Brigadier General Shuaibu Ibrahim, and Management of the NYSC scheme.
He commended the Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi and FETHI, noting key indicators on the general outlook of the corp members and all they imbibe and enjoy in the hospital facility.
On that note, he expressed a desire to enjoy continued collaborations and synergy that has existed between FETHI and the NYSC Scheme.
Chief Medical Director, Prof. Adekunle Ajayi, giving his welcome remarks, thanked the team for their visit.
The CMD however noted with delight the invaluable services rendered by the NYSC members posted to the Hospital which according to him has been of immense benefits, “occupying different critical areas of our health establishment”.
He thereafter, expressed FETHI’s continued commitment to be a worthy partner for further collaborations and cooperation in creating an environment for capacity building, training and mentoring youths, thereby fostering love and service to the Nation, Ekiti State and FETHI, a most outstanding healthcare services provider.
High Chief. Dr. B.O Ogunrinde, gave the vote of thanks to the NYSC directorate for the courtesy visit on behalf of the Management and staff of FETHI.
Dr. Idowu Adebara, Chairman, Medical Advisory Commitee, Mr. Banks-Akinnuoye, Head of Department, Information and Corporate Affairs and Head of Administration, CMD’s Office, Mr.Yomi Fayigbe were also present to receive the visitors with the Chief Medical Director in the Conference Room.
