Cross sessions of members of staff of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), on Thursday, 1st April, 2021 during the April edition of the monthly prayer meeting organised by the Hospital Christian Community.

The theme for this month “Resurrection Power,” had its text taken from the book of Mark 16:16.

Dr Akinbade in his exhortation described the resurrection power as the saving power of the cross that could save man from sin and bring newness.

“It is pertinent for every Christian to rededicate their lives to christ afresh that the power of resurrection and the cross may find expression,” he charged.

Prayers were rendered for the hospital, Ekiti State and Nigeria at large, that the angel of the Lord will roll away every stone and hindrance.

In his remark, the Chief Medical Director, Professor Adekunle Ajayi, wished all members of staff a “Happy New Month.” He declared that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead will quicken the lives of every member of staff and bring every good thing that was dead to life.

He advised members of staff to take installmental stock of their plans and examine if they are in the faith and making advancements in terms of laid-out plans and aspirations for the year, adding that the year is moving fast.

He congratulated the just promoted and converted staff and those whose appointments were recently confirmed. He further urged all to be more conversant with the public service rules.

On a final note, members of staff were informed that Senior Admin Officers have been instructed to embark on routine PSR training on the job across departments to enhance good understanding of the rules guiding our practices as public servants.
