Dr Ariyibi Takes Bow as Physician-in-Charge of FETHI Igogo-Ekiti Annex

The Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI), has effected a change of leadership at its Igogo-Ekiti Annex, with Dr David Ekpo assuming duty as the new Physician-in-Charge (P-I-C) of the facility.

Dr Ekpo takes over from Dr Kayode Ariyibi, who has successfully served as the Physician-in-Charge of the Annex and took a bow today Thursday 24th September, 2026.

The leadership transition marks another step in FETHI's commitment to ensuring continuity, effective coordination and sustained delivery of quality healthcare services across its annexes.

In his farewell message, Dr Ariyibi expressed appreciation to the management of FETHI and members of staff, as well as other stakeholders, for their support and cooperation throughout his tenure.

He acknowledged the contributions of those who assisted him in the discharge of his responsibilities and expressed gratitude for the opportunity to serve at the Igogo-Ekiti Annex.

As Dr Ekpo assumes the leadership of the facility, stakeholders are expected to continue working together to strengthen healthcare delivery and advance the objectives of FETHI in providing accessible and quality medical services to the people of Igogo-Ekiti and its surrounding communities.

The management of FETHI wishes Dr Ekpo a successful tenure and appreciates Dr Ariyibi for his service and contributions to the development of the Igogo-Ekiti Annex.
