As part of its determination to heighten the implementation of Service Compact with All Nigerians (SERVICOM) Chater towards effective service delivery, the SERVICOM Unit of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti has organised a 2-Day training workshop for Ado-Ekiti Annex Staff of the hospital.
The Training themed “Sustaining Improved Service Delivery in FETHI”
was held at the ABUAD Auditorium in FETHI on Wednesday, 19th and Thursday, 20th May, 2021 respectively.
The Chief Medical Director, Professor Adekunle Ajayi in his opening remarks welcomed the participants to the training.
He described the Ado-Annex of FETHI as a place where patients safety and improved outcome are expected to be exemplified at all cost.
The CMD affirmed that the training will promote deeper understanding of customer-driven initiatives to minimise never-events, thereby justifying the need to identify areas that improve effectiveness of members of staff at their respective work designations.
The interactive training workshop split into two(2) batches, were handled by well equipped SERVICOM resource personnels on enlightening topics relating to Customer Care Policy in FETHI, Complaint/Grievances Handling, Attitude to Work and Patient, Operative Administration, Recipe for Efficient Service Delivery in FETHI, Intra/Inter Professional Communication,
Hospital Service Charter: What is it About?, Managing Difficult Patients/ Clients and Post Presentation Evaluation.

Resource Persons; Dr Jimoh A., Dr Arogundade M., Mr Efe Asagba, Mrs Olajide(DDNS), Mr Adeakin A, Pharm. Adetoran, Engr. Matthew Okhuelegbe and Mr Oloniyo were on ground for the training.
The CMD in his closing remarks, charged the participants to be a Workforce that is dedicated, proficient proactive and do FETHI Proud .
“This is an avenue to talk to ourselves as well as carry out up-to-date checklist measures”.
He thereafter commended the Ado-Annex staff for all they do and wished them “Good Sucess”.
Dr Jimoh, SERVICOM Nodal Officer, FETHI, expressed appreciation to the Management team, Resource Personnels and Participants present.
He advised the trainees to put to good use all they had learnt.
