MAY PRAYER SESSION IN FETHI

Members of Staff of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) on Thursday during the May edition of monthly prayer session organised by the hospital’s Christian Community tagged “The Higher Rock… Psalms 61:2), had prayed for the institution to enjoy divine grace and stand upon higher rock in the month of May.

MLS Ajumobi led the first segment of the prayer and urged members of staff to declare the hospital second to none across the country. He prophesied that FETHI shall be higher than others in all ramifications.
Giving the sermon, Dr Akinbade charged the congregation never to be overwhelmed by situations, circumstances, disappointments, success, wisdom, glory, positions or even wealth. He stated that once the heart is overwhelmed by any of these factors, such life is already conquered.
He noted the above as what break down the heart of men and admonished the congregation to pray for grace to survive them, saying five is the number of grace and we are already in the fifth month of the year.
Taking the prayer further, Dr Omolayo enjoined the congregation to pray to God to deliver the hospital completely and put her on a platform to proceed to higher ground.
Mr Ogundana, who rounded up the prayer, declared that the name of Jesus shall represent the hospital everywhere in the month of May and forever. He said every representation of FETHI across the nation shall receive divine approval.
“We speak against every form of barrier. We receive help from God. We are going to be pillars in this hospital and not caterpillars. The month of May shall be loaded with benefits for this hospital in Jesus Mighty name,” he made the list of prophetic prayers.
Addressing the staff on behalf of the Chief Medical Director, Professor Adekunle Ajayi, the Chairman, Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Idowu Adebara welcomed everybody to the month of May.
He disclosed that what Solomon lacked was grace to manage all what God had given him, adding that but the secret to get that grace was within the Bible.
He read from Proverbs 3: 3-4 and urged staff to let not mercy and truth forsake them in the month of May to find favour and good understanding in the sight of God and man. He added that the biblical principles had been helping the CMD and that he implored everyone to bind them about their necks and write them upon the table of their hearts as they go about discharging their respective duties in the month of May.
