This is to inform the entire hospital community of the voluntary retirement of the head of Accounts Department – Mrs Oluwatoyin Adejoke Oshode after a meritorious service to the Federal Teaching Hospital Ido Ekiti, among others.
She was employed into the service of the Federal Government of Nigeria on 24th April, 2001 as Accountant-I at the Federal Medical Centre, Jalingo and transferred her service to the then Federal Medical Centre, Ido Ekiti on the 23rd April, 2006. She rose through the ranks to the post of Chief Accountant and was appointed to the Head of Accounts / Finance Department on 29th January, 2018.
During the courses of her service, she served in various capacity on committees and units, of Accounts Department of the hospital such as NHIS – Account Officer, Head of Salary Unit, Head of Revenue Unit to mention a few.
Despite her short period as Head of Accounts / Finance, she led her team in the Department to sanitize the accounting processes of the hospital which earned the management cemmendations from the Auditors who visited from the Federal Ministry of Health of and the Office of the Auditor General of the Federation.
As she commences her terminal leave Prior to her retirement which takes effect from 30th December, 2018, the Management wishes her successes in her future endeavours and peaceful life at retirement.
In the meantime, the management has approved the redeployment of Mrs Ayodeji Oluyemi Orimolade from the Procurement unit as the Acting Head of Department (Accounts) with effect from 1st October 2018. It is hoped that members of staff will accord her the necessary support to succeed in this new assignment.
