Pastor (Mrs.) Folakemi Folarin Omobowoje has been appointed as the Acting Head of Nursing Services by the Management of the hospital. The appointment takes immediate effect.

Mrs. Omobowoje was born into the family of chief and Chief Mrs. D.A. Filani of Ilemo Compound, Ikoyi-Ekiti, Ikole Local Government Area of Ekiti State.

She attended Christ’s School, Ado Ekiti from 1974-1979.

She graduated as a registered nurse in May 1983 and registered midwife in September 1985. She holds a B.SC (Health Education) degree from the University of Ado Ekiti in Ekiti state in 2006.

She has vast experience in Nursing. She worked at general hospital Ikere Ekiti, state hospital, Ado Ekiti, Idiape Medical Center, Ibadan and Oluyoro Catholic Hospital, Ibadan.

She joined the services of the defunct federal medical center Ido Ekiti in June 2001.

She worked at various nursing units till 22nd December, 2010 when she was posted as the pioneer head matron in charge of Ado Annex. She was posted back to the center in February 2014.

She is happily married to Pastor Omobowoje and the family is blessed with wonderful children and grand children.
