FUOYE STUDENT ON FIELD TRIP TO FETHI

The 400Level students of Public Administration department of Federal University, Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE) on a field trip to the Administrative department of the Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) on Friday and were warmly received by the Management of the hospital under the leadership of the Chief Medical Director, Prof Adekunle Ajayi.

Dr Seyi Olusola, who introduced his team and led the students to the facility, intimated the Management that the trip forms part of the requisites for graduation of the final year students and FETHI was carefully chosen, having considered the quality of Administrators in charge.

In his refulgence, he showered encomia on Prof Ajayi who he described as a meticulous erudite scholar and a well known physician to his family.

Earlier, Prof Ajayi welcomed the students, who he described as great men and women in the society, to the facility and took them on a memory lane of how the hospital started as a regional General Hospital in 1954 to her present state of Teaching Hospital.

He patiently explained the administrative running of the hospital to the students and satisfactorily answered all their questions.

The Director of Administration of the hospital, Chief B.O. Ogunrinde, thanked the students for believing in the quality of services rendered by the hospital and the administrative sagacity of her leadership.

He urged the visitors to remain the Ambassadors of the hospital everywhere they may find themselves.

The visitors thereafter proceeded on administrative facilities tour.

Also received the students with the CMD were the Chairman Medical Advisory Committee, Dr Olagoke Erinomo, Deputy Director (HR), Mrs Folusho Adelegan, Deputy Director (GA), Mr Abayomi Adeakin, Deputy Director of Nursing Services, Mrs Olajide, Asst. Director and Head of Finance and Accounts, Mrs Yemi Olayisade, Asst. Director and Head of Information/Corporate Affairs, Mr Bank-Akinnuoye, Asst. Director and Head of Training, Dr Michai Arogundade, Head of Audit, Mrs Yinka Adewara and Chief Admin Officer CMD’s Office, Mr Yomi Fayigbe.
