Medical team from Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido-Ekiti (FETHI) led by Doctor Fadipe and Matron Adeniyi arrived Chief Ajibade Gboyega JP Memorial Town Hall also known as Isan-Ekiti Unity Town Hall at exactly 10:20am.

After the sitting arrangement was made, health talk tagged “Health Life Style” with emphasis on significance of water therapy was anchored by Matron Adeniyi. She enlightened the people on the importance of drinking water very early in the morning as a panacea to kidney problems, helping in washing away toxic materials from the body and that water helps to ease defecation.

She encouraged them to consume fruits and vegetables to reduce salt and maggi consumption.

Furthermore, she discouraged some reckless habits like alcohol consumption and cigarette smoking as she said these were factors that lead to untimely death.

Total number of people at B. P check desk was 142, while 80 were diagnosed and 75 were also given treatments, as 5 of them were referred to the hospital.
