The Management of Federal Teaching Hospital, Ido Ekiti had been communicated on the test results of all the primary contacts of the index patient with COVID-19 in the institution and that ALL primary contacts tested for COVID-19 came back NEGATIVE.

We are thankful to God Almighty for this. This is also a testament to the level of readiness and preparedness of the whole of FETHI for any incidences in our institution which resulted in rapid isolation of the patient when suspected and immediate isolation of all primary contacts.

The primary contacts will continue in the mandatory 14 days self isolation period after which they will be retested and welcomed back into the family to continue doing what they do best; saving lives.
