NMA State Officials Pays Courtesy Call to Chief Medical Director

In preparation for the forthcoming NMA Annual General Meeting, members of the Ekiti State Branch of Nigerian Medical Association, paid a scheduled courtesy visit to FETHI, to intimate the Chief Medical Director, Professor Adekunle Ajayi of their plans and preparations for their upcoming AGM slated to take place on Wednesday, 27th August, 2022.

In his address, having introduced the purpose for their visit, the NMA State Chairman, Dr. Ariyibi was full of gratitudes to the CMD and members of his Management, for availing him and his team the opportunity to meet with FETHI.
He further commended the CMD for all the support rendered to the Association, even as he acknowledged the humongous strides attained since inception of his administation mostly in the areas of; Quality delivery of healthcare within and outside the state , which he acknowledged is worthy of note.
In his words, he said; ” We are so proud to be associated with you; looking at the good work you do “.

Speaking, while welcoming the members, Prof. A. Ajayi, expressed joy for the Association’s visit to him and the institution while acknowledging his membership of the NMA.

Dr. Ariyibi, in his response, noted that the Nigerian Medical Association (Ekiti State Chapter), can be described as Leaders of the Health Sector in Ekiti State; even as he relayed an introspect into how far they had emerged in the last twenty-five (25) years.

Furthermore, Dr. Ariyibi described the upcoming AGM as a landmark event & historical meeting, with summits and various projections to be made.

He afterwards, expressed hope that the CMD will grace them with his support, in their various line-up of activities and making the year’s programme a success.

The CMD, in his response, nodded his support, having considered the pivotal role played by FETHI in the story and history of the NMA.

He concluded by wishing them a sucessful and productive outing.

In a vote of thanks given by the Chairman, Medical Advisory Commitee, Dr. Olagoke Erinomo thanked the NMA delegation for coming, as he expressed the Hospital’s readiness to partner with them in their forthcoming event even as he hoped that the histories of both entities will continually be linked together as partners in progress.

The NMA Ekiti State Chapter delegation to FETHI also included: Dr Babatunde Rosiji, Dr Adegoke Benji, Dr Akinwumi Mercy and Dr Omoya.
NMA (FETHI) representatives also present were; Prof. Busari, Dr T. Omolayo, Dr. Obajulowo, Dr(Mrs) Olabirin and Dr Arusiji.
